First, how much do you expect to spend on your new or used boat?
Getting A Loan For A Boat
If you need a new or used craft but need boat financing with bad credit, you already know that it can be a tough road. We can help make things easier, not by lending you money but by getting you access to a large group of online lenders. More lenders means more chances of getting a yes from one of them.
If you are ready to get the money that you need, take a minute and first learn about the process.
Getting An Offer
We make it as easy as can be to get a loan offer. Here is how it works.
First, navigate up to the top of the page and fill in the quote form. Enter in how much you expect to need for your new or used boat and then some information about yourself. You will also need to enter your checking account number, because this is how your lender will get you the money that you need.
Once you have finished the form, give your information a quick check. Any errors will only delay you loan funding if you decide to accept your offer. When you are satisfied, just agree to the TOS and hit submit. Your information is then securely sent to the loan network.
If approved for a loan, one lender will make you an offer and you will be sent to that companies website to review the terms. Please note, we do not make credit decisions and will have no details of your loan offer. If you have questions about your loan, you will need to contact your lender directly.
Should you decide to accept an offer, your lender will deposit money directly into your account. You can then shop for your new or used boat as a cash buyer.
 Buying Used Or New
If you decided to accept a loan offer, you can now go about looking for your boat. One of the chief considerations is whether to buy new or used.
New Boats
With a new boat, you have the advantage of it being under warranty. Every part of your boat will be new and you do not have to worry about the previous owners quality of maintenance or even lack of maintenance. You can also get whatever model that you like because you are not dependent on what boats are on the used market.
Used Boats
With a used boat, you have to be much more selective but you can save thousands of dollars over the cost of a new boat. The only catch is that you will be limited in selection. You might have an idea of the model that you want but nobody might be selling it. If you are not particular on the boat that you get and you are good at judging the condition of machinery, used might be the way to go.
What Boat Are You Looking For?
People finance all sorts of watercraft, from small boats to large.
Small Boats
This might be anything from a canoe to a Jon Boat. Small boats are great on smaller bodies of water because they are easier to launch and can run in shallower water.
This category also includes small craft like jet skis. Who wouldn’t want a jet ski.
Mid Size Boats
Looking for a big bass boat? This is what most people in the mid sized boat category are looking for. That or a small ski boat that is great on area lakes.
Large Boats
Perhaps a larger boat such as a used sailboat, a party boat or a pontoon boat is more your style. Large boats are not for everyone, but if you want to carry a lot of people or get out on the ocean, you need something of a bigger size.
