If approved for financing, one lender from the lending group will make you a cash offer. We are not lenders, but instead get you access to a large group of online lenders. If you have bad credit, this may make it easier for you to get an approved loan offer.
Once you have an offer, you will be redirected to the website for the lender making the offer. You can then review all of the terms of the loan and make your decision as to accept it or turn it down. Make sure that you fully understand the offer in front of you and ask your lender if you have any questions. We will not be able to assist you with this, you will have to contact your lender.
Make A Decision
Now, all that is left is to make a decision on whether or not to accept a loan.
Before you do this, check into a few things. Make sure that you an afford the loan payment and that the cost of the loan is not out of line. If you will be using this trailer for work, you probably need it quickly, but that does not mean that you should get into a bad loan.
Not every loan is a good one, so take the time to make the right decision for you.
Choosing A Landscape Trailer
If you accepted an offer for landscape trailer financing, now is the time to choose your trailer. Make your decision carefully, because once you put that money down, it is gone. Here are some trailer details to consider.
Enclosed Or Open
This is a big consideration, especially if you live in a wet climate.
If you go with an open trailer, your equipment would be left completely exposed to the elements and may be more susceptible to theft. That being said, an open trailer will be better with gasoline fumes, will be easier to clean and will cost significantly less than an open trailer.
How Big Should You Go
Thought must also be given to how big of a trailer that you want.
You want a trailer that is big enough now and that allows for some room for growth. You might be using a riding lawn mower now, but what if you want to later upgrade to a much larger zero turn lawn mower?
You need to think about your future trailer usage. What might work for you now might not hold all of the lawn equipment that you need to carry in the future.
Tandem Or Single Axle
Finally, consider whether you want a single or a tandem axle trailer.
A single axle will be much cheaper, but you will be limited in cargo capacity. Most single axle trailers will have 3500 pound axles, limiting you to about 2500 pounds in carrying capacity after the weight of the trailer.
Double axles, on the other hand will be more expensive but will have twice the carrying capacity. They will also have more maintenance with two axles to maintain and twice the tires to buy.
Discount Or Premium Builder
Not every trailer builder is the same. By going with a discount builder, you might be able to save a few hundred or even a few thousand dollars. Having said that, there will be a big difference between the quality and warranty available from a discount manufacturer versus a premium brand like Wells Cargo.
